Kayaking on the Mopan River

Explore the scenic beauty of western Belize with an immersive kayaking tour down the Mopan River. Ideal for both beginners and experienced paddlers, this tour offers a relaxing yet engaging way to connect with nature. Glide past lush jungle landscapes, traditional villages, and ancient cliffs as you follow the peaceful flow of the river.

Our guided kayaking adventure begins with a safety briefing and equipment check before launching into the calm waters near the Paslow Falls area of Bullet Tree Village. Along the way, you may spot a variety of birds, iguanas sunning on rocks, and if you’re lucky, howler monkeys in the treetops. Your guide will share insights about the river’s history and the cultural significance it held for the ancient Maya, who once used these waters for transport and rituals.

This tour is perfect for travelers who want to enjoy a bit of adventure without intense physical exertion. It’s also a great option for couples or families looking to bond through a shared outdoor experience.
